Amber Boyd is a native of Villa Rica, Georgia, and she is super excited to be joining the 3:16 Healthcare family. She earned her BSN in 2000 from LaGrange College and her MSN/PNP from Emory University in 2003. Her passion has always included caring for the child and adolescent population. Amber enjoys addressing both physical and mental health needs of children and adolescents. Her interests include managing chronic illnesses as well as managing symptoms of depression and anxiety in the adolescent population. Another area of interest includes providing patient/family education during well check visits. Amber feels God has led her to be a servant, and she truly feels this profession gives her the opportunity to be a servant for the children and families that she serves. Amber has been married for 17 years to her husband, Deshay, a native of Bowdon, Georgia, and they have an 8 year old son, Chapel. He is in 3rd grade and attends Ithica Elementary, which is part of the Villa Rica Cluster. He keeps them terribly busy and keeps the wheels of life definitely turning. Amber enjoys all things sports and especially watching Chapel play sports. She loves football on Friday nights and church on Sunday. She cannot wait to meet each of you and begin caring for her patients and families.
